Bear Skin Rug. B-141R

This big black bear is in the red/brown stage. With a double-felted and quilted backing, this taxidermy work is excellent (see attached photographs). Additionally, the rings are stitched on for wall hanging or traditional floor display. With a total length of 6’5″ from nose to tail, bears are huge predators. Every claw is whole and in excellent shape. This taxidermy rug’s main flaw is that it was a bear that was harvested in the fall, and its flanks are quite lean due to the season.

Bears in the spring have thicker fur all the way down their flanks, but by autumn, they have worn it down. Because of its size and excellent overall craftsmanship, we have given this item a “Premier” rating.

The item’s overall measurements are 89 inches long by 72 inches wide. Excellent taxidermy head in the open-mouth position. Buy this taxidermy rug for display in the house, cabin, lodge or business.
