Alaskan Black Bear Taxidermy Rug
This is a magnificent black bear skin rug that was photographed in the Brooks Range in Alaska. It is a spring bear with amazing, thick, long black hair. Because they are emerging from hibernation and have not yet lost or worn down their hair due to movement and foraging, spring bears have the highest quality and thickness of hair. He has a fantastic taxidermy head with an open mouth. A layered felt lining with black over tan completes the rug. Every claw is present and of a decent size.
With a total length of 66 inches, this bear rug is a good size. The paws’ broadest point is sixty inches. Given the wonderful color, along with thick long black hair and outstanding workmanship, we have given this item a rating of “Premier”.
Black bears are excellent carpets that can be hung on walls, floors, tables, or even draped over furniture. For a fantastic discussion star and accent piece, add this item to your house, cabin, or lodge. It would also wonderful as a showcase in the business or workplace.
