Dall Sheep Ram Taxidermy. S-132D
This is a fantastic prize class Dall ram! First of all, each of his horns is more than 38 inches. Excellent bases measuring 13 4/8″ and 13 6/8″. Great horns that are far longer than a complete curl. Next, we have a lovely white cape on a figure in the traditional head-forward, looking-forward position. Lastly, this mount has excellent craftsmanship from the well-known Jonas Brothers Taxidermy company. Taken as a whole, this mount is of the “Premier” class and can be used with any collection of wildlife taxidermy pieces.
This ram’s horns have a very good score of 157 6/8″. The basic requirements for the Awards class of Boone & Crockett Club are just not met by this set of horns. This is by far the largest ram of the species that we have had the pleasure of providing through our site, measuring more than 157 inches. Excellent horns with an even ware, beautiful tips on each side, and no breakage. The tips are separated by 25 6/8 inches.
The cape has the typical Alaskan Dall (also written “Dahl”) hair thickness and beautiful, consistent hue. The head-forward, forward-facing design is perfect for showcasing in a cabin, lodge, office, or house. This taxidermy specimen is genuinely of museum caliber. The work was completed by the Seattle-based Jonas Brothers, and it is comparable to the work they are renowned for throughout the United States.
The entire mount is 28 inches high by 26 inches wide by 23 inches deep. The mount is supported by a single, sturdy fastener. Give yourself plenty of room to really appreciate this Alaskan ram’s horns!
