Whitetail Deer Shoulder Mount DW-113

This is a rare example of a “open mouthed” Whitetail mount. This buck has a left-looking, heads-up stance. A few of his tines have acorn tips, and he has a thick rack. At the broadest span, the total width is 16 3/4″. According to the Eastern count, he has 5 x 4 or 9 points. He receives a score of “Excellent” for having a nice, substantial rack, excellent taxidermy, and a more distinctive characteristic (an open mouth). This mount would look fantastic as a stand-alone piece in the house or workplace or as an addition to a collection.

The mount’s overall measurements are 29 D x 22 W x 38 H. The mount is supported by a single, firmly fastened screw. This mount already has a hanging bracket attached, ready for exhibition right away.
