Brown Trout on plaque

This is a real-skin brown trout from the past. Excellent overall condition for an older mount. Given its age, it has held up remarkably well; however, there are a few noticeable skin fractures and a tiny bit of color missing on the end of the tail (see attached photographs). A fish of good size, measuring 29 inches. This fish would have weighed roughly fifteen pounds, in my opinion.

The total mount dimensions are 13 1/4 inches high by 27 1/2 inches long. A lovely antique taxidermy piece with a background of brass décor and an antique plaque. Include this trout in a collection of North American fish or purchase it to put on display in the lodge, cabin, house, or workplace.
