Bush Duiker Shoulder Mount
This Bush Duiker is mounted head-up, gazing into the room to his right. This receives a rating of “Excellent” because it has nice-sized horns for the species and excellent hair color and thickness. He is a fantastic addition to any collection of African or exotic game species. This buck’s horn broke at some point (see attached photographs). He still manages horn lengths of more over two inches on each side.
This mount is 13 inches tall, 6 inches broad, and extends 10 inches into the space. He is suspended from a single screw or nail on a certain bracket.
The savannas of Africa are home to Bush Duiker. They eat grasses, berries, and fruits that grow close to the ground because they are omnivores. The striking red hue of this species’ coat makes it quite visually appealing.
