This listing is for a stunning Desert Bighorn ram! For sheep collectors, a more difficult-to-find North American species is essential. To complete the “Grand Slam” of sheep species in North America, this member is required. This ram nets at roughly 162 inches and has a gross score of 163 4/8 inches. Although it doesn’t quite qualify for the Boone & Crockett Club book, it does meet the requirements for the SCI Medals categorization. A fantastic piece with excellent taxidermy craftsmanship. Lift your head and turn slightly to the left to see into the space. Nice light coloring is typical of southern sheep species, particularly those from the Mexico region (like this one).
The total mount dimensions are 33 inches tall by 25 inches wide by 21 inches deep. The horns are 32 7/8″ and 33 4/8″. heavy bases, each weighing 14 5/8. its ram has the biggest horns of any sheep of its kind that we have found. For exhibition and hanging, this mount needs a strong, secure fastening. For display in the house, cabin, lodge, or place of business, the bracket is already attached. This fantastic mount may be used as a focal point in almost any environment or added to any wildlife collection.
