Reedbuck Horns With Leather Wrap

A huge African Reedbuck is the source of this set of horns. Each side of these horns is 13 0/8 inches in length. The circumference of each base is 5 1/8 inches, giving him a net score of 36 2/8 inches. It makes him eligible for a gold medal class buck. The gold level requires a minimum score of 26 4/8. He would be eligible for a record book entry because of his unusually huge set of horns.

The horns are prepared for wall hanging after being wrapped in suede leather (see pictures). The dimensions of the mount are 11 inches wide by 11 inches high by 10 inches deep. The tips are 7 3/8 inches in diameter.

A favorite species for photographers and safari hunters, reedbuck are widespread over much of Africa. Include this item in any collection of African or exotic game species. Prepared for exhibition in the house, cabin, resort, or workplace.
