Stone Sheep Trophy Mount Taxidermy
This is the biggest Stone Sheep we have ever seen! A massive ram with more than thirty-six horns. Let’s start by talking about the taxidermy job done on this object. It is positioned with its head up and slightly turned, gazing into the room to his right. A stunning cloak with a deep gray across the shoulders and back and white over the face and chest. The craftsmanship is superb and deserving of our top rating.
Let’s move on to this Canadian Ram’s horns (the photo was shot in British Columbia, Canada). Excellent horn size, with the longer horn being somewhat longer than 40 inches. Unfortunately, the left horn is somewhat longer than 36 inches and has some “brooming.” (Brooming is the horns’ wear and tear from fighting and scraping against the ends.) We would be looking at a Boone & Crockett All-Time Book set of horns if it matched the longer horn. Even so, it will still have a gross measurement of 164 7/8″ (inches) and be eligible for the B & C Club Awards Class. Each large base is 12 5/8″. This Stone Sheep has a genuine trophy-class set of horns.
This mount is supported by a single, sturdy fastener. A hanging bracket is included and mounted on the rear. The dimensions of the mount are 30 feet tall, 27 feet broad, and 26 feet deep (from wall to nose). Purchase this taxidermy mount to use as a stand-alone trophy or to add to a collection of animal mounts from North America. Put this item on display in the shop, showroom, or lodge.
